From the very beginning, Pomppa has been guided by a clear mission: to promote the well-being of dogs and create long-lasting, high-quality products. This commitment continues to shape every decision we make.
Our story began with a simple but powerful idea: to design durable dog wear that allows for unrestricted movement. Our founder Meri Alku created the first Pomppa jackets for her own agility dogs, after realizing that the available options didn’t meet the needs of dog sport community. This led to the creation of our classic PerusPomppa, which was first introduced to the public at the 2008 Agility World Championships in Helsinki.
As Pomppa continues to grow rapidly, our awareness of our environmental and social impact grows with it. Today, responsibility is woven into everything we do, from choosing materials to reducing emissions and extending product lifespans.
